Perth, rated as one of the prettiest towns in Ontario, has its feet planted firmly in the Future as well as the Past. Perth is part of the most "wired" areas in North America, with optical networks linking Perth to the surrounding community. Perth also is proud of its past which it carefully preserves and presents as "Living History"

As well as telling you about future events, choosing "Future" will introduce you to the people who are currently working on taking Perth into the future while preserving the past. This involves technology for sure, but also includes visiting, living, working and yes - even retiring in Perth - one of North America's premium towns to retire to.

An interesting new development underway in town is the conversion of the Old Perth Shoe Factory into modern commercial space for businesses and recreational purposes. Check out the Old Perth Shoe Factory web site for information on this exciting development.
